Melbourne has a new hotspot for events and it’s unlike anything you’ve seen before.
Notel, located on the rooftop of a carpark just off Flinders Lane features six, five-star luxury vintage 1970s airstreams that are all about luxury.
While Notel has been launched as a clever accommodation option in the CBD, as the name would suggest, it’s certainly not a hotel. And above that, it’s certainly not your traditional function space. Up to 250 guests can enjoy the space, which in partnership with Blake’s Feast catering, can be transformed with a marquee, heating and air conditioning, designer furniture, DJ and entertainment, an event planner and some seriously tasty food and beverage packages. To top it off, all event hire includes overnight accommodation for up to 12 in the vintage airstreams.
Each airstream is completely fitted out with all the luxuries you could want including a ‘treat yourself for free’ fully-stocked minibar, luxury bathroom and bedroom products and more. There’s no restaurant or in-room dining for guests who stay the night as Notel is all about getting out and exploring the city, but what there is, is a pretty swanky outdoor spa located just behind the airstream ‘with benefits’.
Event catering can be done canapé style or as a seated meal and special touches such as an ice cream cart, gourmet cheese station or even a Texan-style BBQ can be arranged.
It’s an ideal stay for a smaller- sized incentive group or the perfect space to celebrate a launch, holiday party or whatever the reason. For event enquires, contact Blake’s Feast at events@notelmelbourne.com.au
