One of Perth’s iconic hotels has undergone a major transformation, with Parmelia Hilton Perth revealing a brand new look to kick off the New Year.
Following a $45 million renovation, the 53-year-old hotel now boasts 32 additional rooms, a revitalised lobby and restaurant and completely touchless technology throughout.
The hotel has also welcomed a new thoroughfare to Brookfield Place, a shopping and dining precinct set to open in mid-February.
Through the use of Hilton’s Digital Key technology, guests can now check in, access their room and other hotel areas using their smartphone.
In conjuction with Hilton’s CleanStay and EventReady programs, the hotel’s new features aim to provide a clean and safe experience for guests.
Hilton vice president of operations, Australasia Heidi Kunkel said the renovation makes Parmelia Hilton Perth “the city’s best connected hotel”.
“The creation of a thoroughfare to Brookfield Place will directly connect guests to the heart of the CBD, plus with the introduction of Hilton innovations such as Digital Key and Hilton CleanStay, it will set a new standard for Perth hotel stays,” she said.
The property now offers 316 rooms and seven meeting spaces, totalling almost 1,000 square metres of event space.
“The hotel team are excited to welcome guests back after the 10-month renovation and showcase the hotel’s new features, which includes a grand lobby with locally inspired design and artwork reflective of the coastal landscape and cultural heritage that defines Western Australia,” said Kunkel.
