Hilton has confirmed it will launch Hilton Parramatta in Sydney’s west, under a management agreement with Ledrae Hotels.
Set to begin construction in 2020, the new-build hotel will feature 245 rooms, including five suites, as well as three meeting spaces and an executive lounge.
Located 25km west of Sydney’s CBD, Parramatta is a major business and commercial hub and a growing destination for business events.
Heidi Kunkel, vice president operations, Australasia at Hilton says this is the latest example of the brand’s commitment to establish itself within emerging business markets.
“The introduction of this new property has created an exceptional opportunity for us to bring our renowned brand of hospitality to the greater Sydney area and further expand our portfolio in the destinations that matter most to guests,” she says.
Additional offerings at the hotel will include a signature restaurant, bar, fitness centre and outdoor pool.
Ledrae Hotels director Lionel Chang says he is thrilled to be bringing Hilton to Parramatta.
“We have owned the building on the corner of Macquarie Street and Marsden Street since 1994 and look forward to this exciting transformation,” he says.
“With Macquarie Street being the oldest and most well-known street in Parramatta, we cannot think of a better address for what will be a fantastic hotel.”
