New appointments for TFE Hotels in Sydney

TFE Hotels has announced several key personnel changes as part of a new round of internal promotions for its Sydney operations.

Liam Schutz (pictured, above) has been promoted to the role of hotel general manager at Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach, following a stint as pre-opening general manager at Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Chippendale.

Danielle Schadow will step into the role of hotel general manger at Adina Chippendale, her first general manager appointment.

“It is fantastic to see so much going on in our portfolio,” says Tish Nyar, TFE Hotels’ senior director of operations ANZ.

“Each candidate has proven themselves in the operation and these promotions are well deserved.

“I feel confident TFE will rise to any challenges ahead with the team we have behind us.”

Schutz’s journey to becoming hotel general manager at Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach started in 2013 when he joined TFE Hotels as a front office receptionist.

“During the years, Liam has evolved into a dynamic leader, most recently earning accolades including General Manager of the Year and the Outstanding and Inspiring Leader awards at TFE’s 2024 Regional Stronger Together Awards NSW/ACT,” says Emma Soutter, TFE Hotels’ regional general manager NSW/ACT.

“As Liam embarks on this new chapter at Bondi Beach, we have no doubt he will continue to shine and inspire those around him.”

Schadow takes up her position at Adina Chippendale having returned from a three-month stint in Europe as part of TFE Hotels’ Go Global International Exchange Program.

“Dani’s journey with TFE Hotels began back in 2015 at Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach,” says Soutter.

“During the years, she has excelled in various roles and as she transitions into her new role at Adina Apartment Hotel Chippendale, we are confident her experience and passion for hospitality will inspire her team and elevate the Adina guest experience to new heights.”

Justin Style has also been promoted to hotel general manager at Vibe Hotel North Sydney. He will commence the role on 2 December, 2024.

“As hotel general manager at Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport, Justin guided his team to remarkable achievements, including being named a finalist in TFE’s 2024 Global Stronger Together awards for Hotel of the Year – Full Service/Collection,” says Soutter.

“As he embarks on this new chapter, we’re confident Justin will bring his commercial acumen and passion for excellence to the North Sydney market, driving the hotel’s success forward.”
