The National Wine Centre of Australia in Adelaide has taken out a dynamic double at the South Australian Restaurant and Catering Awards.

Not only did the distinctive building and unique function areas win the award for “Best Function Venue”, it also took out the premier award for the evening and was named “Best Caterer”.

“Functions and catering is our lifeblood. My team has worked hard over the past couple of years to ensure each and every event we hold is as individual as its host,” said the Centre’s general manager Adrian Emeny.

“We know we have a magnificent venue, however it’s the personal touches by the sales staff, the spectacular service and the outstanding food and wine that leaves guests raving about their host, and their host raving about the National Wine Centre of Australia. These aspects of a function that are delivered by my team is what makes us the best and I’m truly proud of the hard work each and every one of them has put in to see us win not one but two magnificent awards.”

The National Wine Centre of Australia will now represent SA in these two categories at the National Restaurant and Catering Awards to be held later this year.
