The lavish Spice Market bar takes its inspiration from the ancient Spice Route, and has been exquisitely furnished to reflect this famous journey from Asia Minor through to the Far East.
Owners, Dean and Geremy Lucas of Mongusto Mamma and MoMo fame have joined Robert and Victor Zagame, travelling the world collecting antiques, unique furniture and objects of art, creating an unforgettable space. There is even an antique temple anteroom that was dismantled piece by piece, rebuilt and converted into an elevated private lounge.
Guests can sip signature Turkish Delight Martinis while nibbling on Mezze style dishes designed and overseen by Greg Malouf, executive chef of MoMo, ensuring a distinctive and exceptional experience.
One of the exclusive features of Spice Market will be the indulgent mosaic tiled VIP Perrier Jouet Belle Époque Lounge seating 14 people – Australia’s first. Other private and semi private areas will be allocated to ensure absolute seclusion for guests. The configuration of Spice Market is focused around a central marble and tiled fountain reminiscent of a Moroccan courtyard garden.
