Managers appointed at Adina Town Hall Sydney

The redeveloped Adina Town Hall Sydney has appointed its senior managers ahead of the property reopening in February 2025.

Fresh from revealing the first look at the 144-room hotel in Sydney’s CBD, TFE Hotels has announced key leadership appointments at the top-to-basement refurbished site.

Francis Di Mattina (pictured, above right) has taken up the role of general manager at Adina Town Hall Sydney, arriving at the property from a cluster role overseeing Adina Apartment Hotel Surry Hills and Rendezvous Hotel The Rocks.

Boasting more than 20 years’ experience in the hotel industry – including management of the refurbishment of Travelodge Hotel Martin Place and roles as hotel manager at Adina Norwest and Adina Surry Hills – Di Mattina is a respected stalwart at TFE Hotels.

“Through this tenure at TFE, Francis has overseen the closure of Adina Martin Place and was exceptional in the organisation of the ACT/NSW relief team through very challenging periods,” says Emma Soutter, TFE Hotels’ regional general manager NSW/ACT.

“Francis is a go-to for many operations leaders and we look forward to seeing him take this next step leading a major scale project and repositioning of the asset.”

Di Mattina will be supported at the hotel by new executive assistant manager Tristan Carey (pictured, above left), whose journey with TFE Hotels began as a food and beverage supervisor at Vibe Hotel Sydney.

During the years, Carey has transitioned into rooms division roles, most recently as assistant hotel manager at Adina Bondi Beach and in the NSW/ACT relief team.
