Leading Hotels of the World is celebrating its 80th anniversary by releasing a limited number of the world’s most sought after hotel rooms for a special rate of US$19.28 per night.
The special rate that recalls the group’s founding year (1928) is available to registered consumers only. It will commence today (October 1) at 10:00pm Sydney time and last for 80 minutes only. The rate applies for a maximum two-night stay at a single participating hotel between November 1 and December 15 and is exclusive of taxes and surcharges.

The promotion coincides with the launch of Around the World in 80 Ways, an epic voyage in homage to 80th Academy Awards themed to the movie Around the World in 80 Days.
It comprises of a 28-night trip for two in a private jet with accommodation at 5-star properties including the London Ritz, the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur, India, The Imperial in Tokyo, Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago and the Langham in Hong Kong.
The voyage is priced at US1million per couple, with 10 per cent donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
