Jupiters Gold Coast tops at MEA awards

Jupiters Gold Coast took home a top gong for 'Best Venue with Accommodation' at the MEA Queensland State Awards held on Wednesday 17 March.

Jupiters Gold Coast took home a top gong for ‘Best Venue with Accommodation’ at the MEA (Meetings and Events Australia) Queensland State Awards held on Wednesday 17 March.

Managing director Stuart Wing said it was a top honour to be recognised as the premier venue in the State by MEA.

“The award win is an outstanding achievement and demonstrates that Jupiters continues to set benchmarks in a highly competitive industry,” he said.

Conrad Jupiters Gold Coast has been recognised as Queenslands best venue with accomodation at the state MEA awards, qualifying it for the national award in April

“We entered this category because it really encompasses the entire experience our business tourism guests enjoy at Jupiters,” he said.

“From the moment guests arrive our team delivers a consistently high level of service across every touch point including events, hotel, food and beverage and security just to name a few. For this reason the award win is a true credit to the entire Jupiters team.”

Director of sales, Wayne Pilgrim said the win capped off a testing but rewarding period for the company.

“We have seen a challenging year across the industry, however we used this to our advantage by tailoring our offering, thinking outside the square and still delivering a superior level of customer service,” he explained.

He said the business is now entering an exciting period of change and growth as they formalise a new partnership with WORLDHOTELS – a collection of the world’s most unique independent hotels.

“We are looking forward to consolidating our position and to working with WORLDHOTELS and industry bodies to grow the business tourism industry on the Gold Coast and in Queensland,” he said.

Jupiters will now compete with venues from around Australia at the National MEA Awards to be announced on April 20 in Melbourne.
