Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, after much anticipation, has confirmed an Australian tour the first week in March 2012 for a variety of events and launches over three states.
Jamie Oliver’s first Australian visit since 2010 will take in three states and encompass each of his Australian entities including, Jamie’s Ministry of Food Australia and the newly opened Jamie’s Italian Restaurant in Sydney.
Chef Jamie Oliver will return to Australia in 2012 for th e launch of both Jamie’s Ministry of Food Australia in Ipswich and the official launch of Jamie’s Italian in Sydney.
In Sydney, Jamie will spend time at his first Sydney restaurant, Jamie’s Italian. Since opening its doors in October, the restaurant has delighted hungry diners with Jamie’s successful blend of delicious Italian food with an exciting menu that showcases some of Australia’s highest quality, wellsourced and organic ingredients.
Jamie’s time in Queensland will include visiting his first Australian Ministry of Food centres including the inaugural site in Ipswich and his first Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen, designed as a purpose built kitchen classroom. While in town, Jamie will also take the opportunity to thank The Good Guys, relevant governmen officials, staff, volunteers and all who have thus far supported the Ministry of Food cause.
The tour will take place across five days commencing 3rd March in Brisbane before he heads to Sydney on March 4-5 and Melbourne on March 6-7, 2012.
