Diggers at The Entrance and Accor Hotels are set to welcome a 52-room Ibis Styles Hotel into their respective families this year.
Ibis Styles The Entrance, a joint venture for Diggers and Accor, represents a key development in the NSW Government’s push to boost tourism on the Central Coast. The Destination NSW Regional Visitor Economy Fund has given the project a glowing endorsement with a contribution of $430,000 – close to the maximum possible investment.
Accor Pacific chief operating officer Simon McGrath is optimistic about the development. He said, “Accor is pleased to be working in partnership with Diggers at The Entrance on this exciting new development that we are confident will stimulate travel and contribute strongly to the tourism growth in this region.”
Construction on the new-build hotel commenced earlier this year and is slated for completion in December 2014. As well as 52 guest rooms, the venue will encompass two restaurants, three bars and three meeting rooms.
