Hyatt Regency Sydney celebrated its official launch last week with a cocktail soiree hosted in its Grand ballroom which overlooks Sydney’s Darling Harbour.
The launch event showcased dynamic live cooking stations featuring freshly shucked oysters, French Champagne, seafood and dessert delights prepared by Hyatt Regency Sydney’s Chefs.
Guests were wowed by aerial artists who performed while suspended from the ceiling as well as a a stunning light and laser projection show.
The 1,000 seat Grand Ballroom hosted some 300 special guests including the NSW Minister for Planning, Honorable Anthony Roberts, the NSW Minister for Land and Forestry, Honorable Peter Toole, Destination NSW CEO, Sandra Chipchase as well as local and international media and corporate partners from around Australia.
Speaking to the audience, Hyatt’s CEO and President, Mark Hoplamazian said the Hyatt Regency Sydney was a key flagship hotel within their portfolio.
“I’m delighted to see we’ve already been able to meet the needs of Sydney’s growing Meetings and Events market,” he said.
