Wild Ginger Dining and Bar is the newest addition to the Overseas Passenger Terminal dining precinct.
The new venue is a stylish take on a casual, street-inspired Thai food with modern Australia influences.
Chefs Patrick Pattrawut Leeracchevasit and Tony Suphap Samsen make their curries and pastes are from scratch and use native Australian ingredients like native finger limes and crystal ice plant succulents alongside local lobster, Sydney Rock Oysters, crab, Wagyu beef, Barramundi and duck.
At George Street level, a long table encourages the spirit of communal dining surrounded by the sounds of a busy interactive kitchen. The light dining menu is crafted for express eating and takeaway; promising ‘In, Eat and Out’ within 20 minutes for those who want all the flavour of a good meal while on a limited schedule, for pick up and takeaway, or as part of a full tasting experience best matched to beers, wines and cocktails.
The alfresco experience of the upstairs deck or downstairs balcony sees Wild Ginger’s flavours extend to bar snacks where delicate bites are matched to signature Thai-inspired cocktails from the bar and Thai Singha, Sangsom and Mekhong beers.
Wild Ginger Dining and Bar is located at 106 George Street, The Rocks NSW.
