The refurbished Roundabout Restaurant has reopened in Wagga Wagga.
The Roundabout Restaurant, located in the 4-star Best Western Plus Charles Sturt Suites and Apartments, is a 55-seat fine dining restaurant overlooking Tarcutta Street. It has been owned and operated by the Pascoe family since 1993.
Jamie Pascoe, general manager of the Best Western Plus Charles Sturt Suites and Apartments, wanted to create a regional dining experience where friends and family can come together to enjoy delicious cuisine in chic and comfortable surroundings.
“We are fortunate enough to be located in an area where we have access to fresh, local produce and the Roundabout Restaurant is an excellent platform to be able to showcase the very best flavours of the Riverina,” he said.
Regarding the décor, Pascoe said, “We have formed three distinct dining areas within the restaurant by using a combination of traditional and banquette-style seating which has been beautifully complemented by warm, gentle lighting to create an intimate feeling for our guests.”
The a la carte menu uses the regions finest produce and an excellent selection of local and international wines.
Entrée selections such as double Riverina lamb cutlet with spiced sweet potato, beetroot relish and apple jus; and a choice of mains including grilled eye fillet of Riverina prime beef with butternut puree and pot roasted barramundi with garlic mushrooms, herb pangrattato and baby spinach puree make the one hour flight from Melbourne or Sydney well worth the trip.
The Roundabout Restaurant is open daily for breakfast and Monday to Saturday for dinner and is located at Best Western Plus Charles Sturt Suites and Apartments.
