The Rocks, Sydney welcomes a new small bar.
Located in the refurbished ground floor of The Russell Hotel, the team from Victoria Hampshire Designs have given the venue an updated and yet still historically sympathetic atmosphere.
The Push licensee and WDS Hotel Group director Steven Speed said, “When we purchased the business in July 2013, it was operating as The Russell Wine Bar. We saw an opportunity to strip it back and undertake a proper repositioning of the space that will resonate with Sydneysiders whilst keeping true to the historical significance of the venue and The Rocks precinct.”
The new menu includes items such as pork and fennel sausage rolls, beef flank nachos and slow cooked lamb sliders. The Push’s menu is a modern take on classic Australian pub-style dishes with English and American influences.
The Push fits 80 people stand-up.
