Oceans Dining and Drinks has just opened at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach.
Rowena Lister of Lister and Co interior design firm collaborated with the hotel to create five distinct event spaces that feature the iconic Florence Broadhurst yellow and white cockatoo print, upcycled furniture, sand coloured and white washed timbers, palm patterns and gold accents.
The spaces include an outdoor terrace, a shady verandah, a bar, dining room and comfy sitting room.
Chef Matthew Duggan’s new menu includes Southern European-inspired items like mussels served in a saffron, chilli and chorizo broth, giant dishes of king prawns, salumi boards and plates of crispy pork belly bites, scallops and marinated slow cooked octopus.
To complement the new menu, a selection of wines from France, Italy, Spain, Argentina and Australia has been collated, alongside a summery cocktail list.
The venue fit 200 people, including the use of the outdoor spaces.
