NOLA Smokehouse and Bar is one of the newest additions to Sydney’s newest food precinct Barangaroo.
The restaurant combines the warmth and hospitality for which the South is well known with a large spirits-driven bar and restaurant space filling the 500 sqm venue.
The venue offers restaurant seating for 80, a private dining room for 14 and a bar with a capacity of 180.
Its drinks menu features a collection of more than 500 whiskies, however the list is due to increase to 1,000 by the end of the year. The vast spirits offering is constantly changing with limited edition and hard-to-find single bottles being added to the list every week.
Two large smokers, which can fit about 30 briskets each or up to 120 chickens, have no down time, producing meats such as Jack’s Creek dry aged beef brisket, dry rubbed and smoked for 14rs, organic chicken tea-brined smoked and blackened, Junee lamb spit roasted over coals and Melanda Park pork shoulder, smoked and pulled, in 100 and 200g serves as well as larger shared portions.
NOLA Smokehouse and Bar is located at Tower 1, Level 1, 100 Barangaroo Avenue, Sydney.
