Built in the 1800’s, this lovely old pub in Millers Point has been given a new lease on life.
Split into three sections – The Public House, Henry Deane and the Hotel Palisade – this venue serves multiple functions.
The Public House is a casual pub diner at the front of the building that seats 60 people.
Head on upstairs to the Henry Deane section and you will find private function rooms named The Linnean (20 people) and The Push (30 people), each with a balcony with views overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This same floor has a private dining room with lounge seating for up to 15 people (just don’t ask for a long table – the style of seating is relaxed and the food is served as staggered shared grazing plates).
The Henry Deane rooftop floor has a full bar, glass walls and killer views over Sydney Harbour, the Bridge and the Barangaroo precinct. This floor fits 80 people.
Henry Deane’s public areas can be hired privately on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but the two private dining rooms and function rooms can be hired any day of the week.
The Hotel Palisade accommodation wing has eight boutique rooms that, in keeping with the rest of the refurbishment, have been stylishly appointed by Sibella Court.
Hotel Palisade is located at 35 Bettington St, Millers Point, Sydney.
