Butcher and the Farmer is a unique inner-city destination open from 8am daily for breakfast, lunch or dinner and is an integral part of the historic Glebe Tramsheds restoration and redevelopment.
The food that is served is simple, honest and delicious, with ingredients are “sourced with care”.
Venture up the original graffiti staircase to Butcher and the Farmer’s private dining room – The Pickle Room which has views across the park. This is the ideal spot for a small group with reservations of up to 18 guests.
Enjoy a drink or two on board the restored heritage tram, Sydney’s last operating tram – 1995 a perfect spot for an arrival drinks and canapes before moving into the dining room for a sit-down meal.
Larger groups can dine in the main dining room which connects guests with the chefs and butcher in the open kitchen, as they create seasonal menus featuring whole animals roasted over coals, house-made charcuterie, pickles and smoked meat and vegetables.
This space is the perfect for corporate and group function and can be booked exclusively day or night.
