The first floor of Beach Road Hotel has had a facelift.

Design firm Luchetti Krelle has recently completed an extensive renovation of the large upstairs area at Beach Road.

The designers have transformed the space, dubbed ‘The Valley’, into a more relaxed, urban beach bar setting by adding colour, polished concrete floors, timber panelling, greenery, cane furniture and leather banquettes throughout.

The east side of the floor has a midweek and weekend DJ. The west side offers a more refined setting of an eatery and cocktail lounge with light timber finishes, white tiled bar tops and soft leather lounges.

From Wednesday 25 May, Sarah and James Robbins from Bar Luca/BL Burgers, will take over the upstairs kitchen with their new project dubbed BL Burgers Beach Road.
