This classic Bondi establishment has all the components of a crowd-pleaser for your holiday party.
The annual staff party can be a nightmare to organise. Different religions, dietary preferences, approaches to alcohol and what is considered fun. One man’s lawn bowls is another man’s 12 course degustation. And then there’s the budget.
Ravesi’s in Bondi is a top pick for a venue that will keep most, if not all, of your guests happy. It’s breezy, beachy, light and airy. The food is modern without being pretentious and focuses on fresh seafood; a factor that makes the menu match the location. Think seared scallops on corn risotto with crispy jamon, oysters served three ways, roll-your-own duck pancakes and kingfish sashimi with kiwi fruit, blood orange and black quinoa.
The cocktail list is full of loveable classics such as espresso martinis and lychee capirinhas, the wine list has a robust selection of Aussie whites as well as some exciting imports (such as Sancerre from the Loire Valley in France) and there’s good selection of both local and imported tap and bottle beers.
The upstairs function space, Drift Cocktail Lounge, holds 180 people stand-up cocktail, has it’s own bar and has access to the outdoor terrace. The space holds 40 people sit-down.
Ravesi’s, which is about toe celebrate its 21st birthday, is located at 118 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach, NSW.
