Northern Territory’s only 5-star CBD hotel has undergone $10 million renovation.

All 236 guest rooms, lobby hallways and entertainment areas have been refurbished and a fitness centre has been added opposite the pool on level 10.

The hotel also offers Darwin’s only executive lounge serving continental breakfast, evening drinks and canapés. The hotel also boasts five meeting rooms on a dedicated events floor and seafood restaurant, Mitchell’s Bar and Grill.

Northern Territory Hilton Worldwide area general manager Martin Kendall said, “Hilton Darwin’s refurbishment has set new standards for the city’s upscale hotel market. The renovations have introduced a new standard of luxury to Darwin and, coupled with the hotel’s stunning harbour views and ideal CBD location, have further cemented Hilton Darwin’s position as the city’s premier hotel for business and leisure.”

The new styling features light tiling with dark pure wool carpets, solid timber and leather furniture, all new local artworks, muted wallpapers, granite vanities and frameless glass screens in the new bathrooms.

Hilton Darwin is located on Mitchell Street, overlooking the Esplanade, within walking distance of all major corporations and government offices, Darwin Convention Centre, shopping and dining precincts and is a 15 minute drive from Darwin International Airport.
