Accor Hotels has introduced a new hotel to the Mercure network, the Grand Mercure Apartments Bargara, Bundaberg on Queensland’s Coral Coast.

Situated beachfront, the property offers 39 luxury apartments located only 200 metres from the seaside town centre along the newly developed Esplanade overlooking Bargara Beach.

Bundaberg and Bargara are dynamic destinations, the gateway to more than eight National Parks and 92km of unspoilt coastline. It is also the most southern access point for the Great Barrier Reef, including nearby Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave Islands, and Fitzroy Reef Lagoon.

The Grand Mercure Bundaberg is the latest in a range of new Grand Mercure resort developments announced this year, including the Grand Mercure Forest Lodge in the Hepburn Spa region of Victoria, and the Grand Mercure Townsville, which will open later this month.
