Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong is targeting corporate travellers with the property’s new business and events spaces.
The hotel has 180 new rooms, including 23 suites and events areas that cater for medium-sized social gatherings.
Three meeting and event spaces are on offer, along with guest areas to accommodate a wide range of events, conferences and delegations.
Holiday Inn & Suites General Manager, Daniel Payne, said the spaces will provide a bright social hub for work, play and stay.

From small business meetings to larger presentations, the function rooms can separately cater for 25 attendees each (theatre style), or for up to 110 people cocktail-style when combined.
Guests can access unlimited free high-speed Wi-Fi and built-in AV amenities, complete with a drop-down screen and projector.
Celebrity Chef Adrian Richardson and Executive Chef Migo Razon lead Maestro restaurant which can cater for all functions, meetings and events.
The venue is prioritising accessibility by offering a range of features, including elevator access to all floors, visual alarms or alerts, and Braille signage in elevators and public areas.
With a variety of seating options and an additional media lounge, the open lobby offers space for informal meetings and breakout sessions.
The property is also part of the IHG Business Rewards program, which enables companies to earn valuable points every time they reserve accommodations, host meetings, or plan events.
