The GCCEC’s AV sales manager Paul Wilson said the new product will change the event experience for visitors.

“We now have the technology to deliver sharper vision unsurpassed at the Centre in size and quality to create an exceptional and vivid experience for visitors,” he said.

“Most people have high definition monitors in their lounge rooms so they expect the highest quality images at the GCCEC and we can provide that.”

“There is nothing more disappointing than attending a conference or gala dinner where the space is perfectly set but the AV not up to scratch.”

“The GCCEC’s new screen will ensure we deliver the most professional and cutting-edge events to make visitors remember us for our quality of product.”

The Centre has also added a smaller 16m wide by 5.5m high screen to its range of AV equipment operating in the same way but using two projectors to create one blended image. Both screens are available to use in the GCCEC’s Arena and Halls in various room configurations. Paul added that it’s all about creating an enhanced event experience while continuing to offer the flexibility and creativity that the Centre is renowned for.

The GCCEC is preparing to launch its in-house AV from 1 July 2012. The in-house AV solution will bring the Centre in line with others around the world. The new service will play an integral part of events and will be equipped to service all staging and production requirements.
