Designed by Bates Smart Interior Design, the multi-million-dollar top-to-tail transformation of the 27-storey, 144-room hotel presents modern and sophisticated spaces in the heart of the harbour city.
TFE Hotels has released images of room prototypes which showcase interior design aimed at making guests feel instantly at home.
“Our approach was to make the Adina feel more like a residence,” says Bates Smart Interior Design’s director, Brenton Smith.
“This meant we took off our hotel hats and designed a beautiful apartment we’d like to live in.
“This project is about maximising the space of the hotel and using it in a very purposeful way that makes it look like it was always meant to be.
“There’s a level of warmth here as if the room is putting its arms around you and giving you a bit of a hug.”
TFE Hotels’ group chief operating officer, Chris Sedgwick, says Adina Town Hall Sydney is the first Adina property to be reinvented under the Adina Hotels brand refresh.
“This major-scale project represents a huge repositioning of the asset, and ultimately supports our contemporary vision for the Adina brand,” he says.
“Elevating the Adina brand and hotel experience across our network is our absolute goal – city by city and hotel by hotel.”
