The recent $4 million makeover and rebadging project turned the old Grand Mercure Pinnacle Valley into a Sebel.

Situated in Merrijig, a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Melbourne and a 30-minute drive from Mt Buller’s ski field, the new-look Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort has a European alpine resort feel.

Mt Buller has over 300 hectares of skiable terrain. The runs range from the wide beginner’s slopes to the challenge of black runs like Chamois and the back of Summit.

With 22 lifts, Mt Buller has the largest lift network in Victoria, including thirteen chairlifts.

The revamped suites and chalets offer a new standard for alpine luxury. You can choose from studio rooms, one-bedroom suites or two bedroom chalets all with separate lounge, dining and kitchen facilities. A mix of warm timber floors and sumptuous carpets cover the floors while soft furnishings in silver, grey and red add an elegant warmth to the well-appointed space.

The resort is owned by Accor Vacation Club, established in 2001 and now with more than 31,000 members, which is a fully-owned subsidiary of Accor.
