Tourism New Zealand says there has been extensive interest in the GST-back offer for Australian businesses holding business events in the country.
Speaking exclusively to Spice on video at the Meetings 2014 trade show in Auckland today (Jun 19), Tourism New Zealand International Business Events Manager, Bjoern Spreitzer, said interest had been solid at the event from a number of the 96 Aussie buyers in attendance.
Spreitzer said the GST-back move was about putting New Zealand on the same playing field in the Australian market.
