DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin is preparing to welcome its first guests back to the hotel since it was forced to close due to COVID-19 in April 2020.
Guests will once again be welcomed with a Hilton by DoubleTree signature chocolate chip cookie on arrival, when doors reopen on 9 February 2021.
“Following a challenging few months, we are thrilled to announce the resumption of full operations at DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin, marking a significant milestone for a team that has shown incredible resilience,” said Todd Grierson, cluster general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton, Northern Territory.
The hotel’s conference and events venues remained open to corporate groups during the closure period, which Grierson said was a “critical part” of the 197-room hotel’s recovery.
“The whole team is eagerly looking forward to hosting many more corporate and social functions this year.”
DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin is participating in the Hilton CleanStay Program, to provide a clean and safe stay for all guests.
“The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members remain our highest priority, and we continue to be diligent in our commitment to provide a clean, safe and hospitable environment for all who enter our doors,” said Grierson.
