Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour is gearing up to open its doors from 1 October 2020.
After a 10-year hiatus, the Crowne Plaza brand will return to Sydney’s CBD with a new-build, 13-storey property located on the corner of Bathurst and Sussex Streets.
The hotel will feature 152 contemporary guestrooms, each with floor-to-ceiling windows, a dedicated work space and spacious bathrooms.
Every element of this new hotel has been designed with the business traveller in mind, from the USB outlets and wireless charging stations throughout the property, to the in-room Bluetooth speakers, unlimited high-speed wifi and Chromecast TVs.
New CBD meeting spaces
For meeting planners, Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour will offer two dedicated event spaces.
The largest space, The Galleries, can accommodate up to 250 delegates and can also be separated into three rooms for smaller groups. The Studio is ideal for boardroom meetings of up to 20 people.
Guests can also enjoy a heated infinity pool located on the rooftop to offer city views, a 24-hour fitness centre and three food and beverage venues.
While La Bella Trattoria & Bar restaurant is temporarily closed, TWO 88 Bar & Kitchen will be operating six days a week with a locally sourced menu and extensive wine and cocktail list.
Café 58, located just off the lobby, will also be open for those looking for a grab-and-go option.
The team at Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour has committed to a number of sustainability initiatives, including paperless check-in and event contracting processes, digital compendiums, no single-use plastics in conference rooms, Orca food waste processing machines, bamboo key cards, electric car charging stations and a partnership with Go Get car sharing.
