One of Sydney’s oldest hotels, Cremorne Point Manor, has undergone a $1 million renovation.
The refurbishment includes all 29 bedrooms, bathroom and communal guest areas.
Hotel director Jean Claude Branch commissioned artist Winston Walford to create original mosaics featuring approximately 65,000 hand-laid tiles.
Walford belongs to the Gamilaroi language group and resides on the North Coast. Self taught, he has established himself as a vibrant commercial artist and his work is shown at private collections nationally and internationally.
