Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) will host nine new exhibitions this year.
Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) chief executive Joyce DiMascio said, “With the spotlight on Brisbane for the G20, it comes as no surprise that the city is becoming a drawcard for new exhibitions and events – Brisbane delivers a quality experience and it is a centre for economic growth.”
The new exhibitions are Convene Queensland on July 29, AWISA 2014 (Australian Woodworking Industry Suppliers Association) on August 6-9, Oz Comic-Con Brisbane September 6-7, Supanova 2014 November 28-30, Queensland Police Expo August 22-23, Brisbane Times City2South Fitness and Health Expo, Courier-Mail Home Show, Mind, Body and Spirit Festival and Visual Impact Brisbane 2014.
Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre General Manager and Board Member of the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia Bob O’Keeffe said, “The value of exhibitions cannot be underestimated with benefits extending to all areas of the economy. For exhibitors and organisations involved they present a powerful face to face sales and marketing force.”
