As it prepares for its official opening, Adelaide’s Oval Hotel is now taking bookings from September 2020.
The hotel brings 138 boutique accommodation rooms to Adelaide Oval, including two master suites, designed for both leisure and business travel.
“We are incredibly excited to be another step closer to welcoming our first guests at Oval Hotel,” said general manager Bodelle Francis.
Each of the guest rooms will feature views of surrounding parklands, contemporary design and furnishings, keyless entry and electronic room controls to personalise climate, lighting, curtains and privacy settings.
While South Australia’s borders remain closed to travellers from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT, the state plans to reopen the border from 20 July.
“As travel restrictions begin to lift across Australia, we look forward to welcoming both locals and interstate travellers – anyone looking to explore the city of Adelaide from an entirely new perspective and treat themselves to a one-of-a-kind accommodation experience,” said Francis.
Event Hospitality & Entertainment Limited, which owns the Rydges and QT hotel brands, have been engaged by Oval Hotel to provide distribution, sales, marketing and loyalty services.
While Oval Hotel will feature its own unique branding, it will become part of the Event hotel network, supported as an affiliate partner, with access to the group’s distribution network, sales and marketing platforms and inclusion in the Priority Guest Rewards loyalty program.
The hotel will also open its flagship bar and dining spaces in September, including Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen, which will focus on local produce.
“Our world-class culinary team is committed to crafting exceptional dining experiences that provide guests with the true taste of South Australia,” said Francis.
The hotel is expected to be a popular choice for those attending events at Adelaide Oval, which hosts more than 1400 functions each year across its 23 event spaces.
