Bonville Club House

Often referred to as ‘Australia’s Augusta’, the Resort took the honour over some tough competition including former winners – Palmer Coolum Resort on QLD’s Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast resorts of InterContinental Sanctuary Cove and RACV Royal Pines Resort. This is the 20th anniversary of the World Travel Awards and the 10th year the Golf Resort category has awarded Australia’s Leader in the sector.

Bonville has been awarded the title 3 times previously in 2006, 2011 and 2012 and is delighted to now be a 3 time consecutive winner of this prestigious title.

Bonville’s general manager Brad Daymond said, “This title as Australia’s leader reflects the continued improvements to the overall ‘Bonville Experience’ members and guests receive on a daily basis. This year has seen our restaurant The Flooded Gums win a coveted ’Chef’s Hat’ in the 2014 Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Awards to complement our 2013 ‘Chefs Hat’. Improvements and upgrades have also been achieved in our Function Department, Kitchen, Housekeeping and Proshop areas enhancing the overall ‘Bonville Experience’ which guests receive.”

Voting for the World Travel Awards are cast by travel agents in over 200 countries worldwide from which continental categories are broken down from the overall world category.
