Australia’s second Voco hotel opens

Voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley marks the second property for IHG's newest upscale brand.

Voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley has opened its doors, marking the second property under InterContinental Hotels Group’s newest upscale brand.

The opening follows the completion of a refresh and rebrand of the New South Wales property, which now features Voco’s signature yellow accents and focus on sustainability.

The Kirkton Park estate is set on 70 acres and offers 70 well-appointed rooms, each with high speed Wi-Fi and luxury comforts.

Guests staying at the property will experience Voco’s signature ‘come on in’ warm welcome, promising a fast and simple check in, dedicated hosts available throughout their stay and a locally inspired welcome gift.

General manager Penny Crossley said the hotel will appeal to today’s traveller.

“Guests have a revived appetite for bold, new experiences – and we know dining continues to be one of the leading reasons we choose to travel,” she said.

“The Hunter Valley is renowned for its exceptional food and wine offering, so it is tremendously exciting to introduce Voco to the region to enhance our beautiful estate with a new, fresh and fun approach.”

Led by a paddock-to-plate ethos, Voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley’s dining outlets include Locavore Dining and Epoche Lounge Bar providing lunch and dinner, and The Conservatory offering a high tea experience overlooking the rose garden.

Sustainability will play a foundational role of the Voco experience, with initiatives already available throughout the hotel including on-site beehives, plastic-free bedding and large bottle amenities.

Other onsite facilities include conference and event spaces, tennis courts, billiards room, an indoor heated pool, sauna and spa, and gymnasium.
