Atelier by Sofitel retains two Chef Hat status

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour’s Atelier by Sofitel restaurant has retained its two Chef Hat status for 2024 from the Australian Good Food Guide.

The Chef Hat list for 2024 was released on 17 January, honouring the best restaurants and cuisine across Australia.

Atelier by Sofitel is led by executive chef Sam Moore, who is dedicated to sourcing the freshest ingredients for a modern take on southern French cuisine.

“It’s an absolute credit to the entire team that we have retained our two-hat status in 2024,” says Moore.

“To be recognised alongside the likes of Mr Wong and Ester is a real honour and testament to the hard work of our team.

“Atelier stands for ‘an artist’s workshop or studio’ and is a place where creativity is king, inspiration flows, ideas are born and fresh ingredients are transformed.

“We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, to supporting local businesses and to sustainable practices.

“This award is a credit to us all.

“Our rating in 2024 describes our offering as ‘food quite out of the ordinary’ – an achievement to maintain throughout 2024.”
