All aboard Sydney’s new Mumm Harbour Bar

There are plenty of ways to experience Sydney Harbour, but none quite like this.

A new harbourside bar is launching in Sydney, but not the usual kind.

In partnership with French champagne brand G.H. Mumm, Captain Cook Cruises is welcoming guests on board the Mumm Harbour Bar, located within its Sydney 2000 vessel.

From 12 February, the bar will take over the recently refurbished Ocean Deck to offer guests a bottomless Champagne and seafood experience, all while soaking up all the best angles of the harbour.

Kicking off at 3:00pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 1.5-hour cruise sees guests seated in a Mumm lounge suite, where they receive Mumm Grand Cordon Champagne, traditionally a cellar door-only cuvée Champagne and typically only served in Sydney’s top restaurants and bars.

Guests at the Mumm Harbour Bar also receive a high tea-style seafood platter to share including fresh prawns, oysters, smoked salmon blinis and calamari.

Captain Cook Cruises general manager Anthony Haworth said Sydneysiders and interstate visitors are looking for new experiences as they rediscover the city.

“What better way to celebrate our 50 years of sailing on the best harbour in the world than by joining forces with a like-minded premium brand like Mumm to provide our guests with the best on water experience in Sydney,” he said.

Mumm brand ambassador Emmanuel de Madre said the company is always looking for opportunities that align with the way the product makes people feel.

“That’s why jumping onboard the new Mumm Harbour Bar this Summer makes perfect sense. Sydney Harbour makes people feel amazing!” he said.

“We want Sydneysiders to enjoy the best harbour in the world with a free-flowing Mumm experience like they’ve never seen before.”
