The Australian Jockey Club at Royal Randwick has again taken the coveted Function/Convention Centre Caterer of the Year award for the second year at the NSW Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence dinner at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday (28 September).

Competing against reputable function centres from across the state, the back to back win was secured in the midst of Spring Carnival celebrations at Royal Randwick as they lead into the Arrowfield Stud Super Saturday on October 3, 2009.
Celebrating the recent win, the AJC is thanking customers with early Christmas cheer when event organisers book a holiday event of 100 guests or more on a non-race day.
Organisers using any of the 14 flexible indoor/outdoor event areas will receive a ‘Christmas Thank You’ package. On top of enjoying free parking, professional service and award winning catering, organisers also receive at no extra cost a selection of canapés on arrival, after-dinner holiday treats including traditional eggnog shot, fruit mince tarts and chocolate truffles; and use of four topiary trees, complete with fairy lights and ribbon to complement the event theme.
