Accor’s TRIBE hotel to debut in New Zealand

Accor’s TRIBE Auckland Fort Street is set to open its doors in the summer of 2024-2025.

The countdown is on for the launch of TRIBE Auckland Fort Street, Accor’s design-led midscale brand.

Located in the heart of Auckland, near Britomart and the Commercial Bay precinct, TRIBE Auckland Fort Street will be the brand’s first foray into New Zealand.

The stylish new destination aims to attract locals and travellers, providing a chic and contemporary space for work, play and relaxation.

The hotel will feature 60 guestrooms, a lobby bar, terrace and social hub, all designed with an intelligent, functional and design-driven approach.

Adrian Williams, Accor Pacific’s chief operating officer, PM&E, explains the introduction of TRIBE to New Zealand underpins Accor’s expansion strategy throughout the region – to introduce brands and hotels that respond to the needs modern travellers.

“Today’s travellers seek simplicity, affordability and connectivity in a design-led environment,” he says.

“They know comfort and fair prices can co-exist and that’s exactly what TRIBE hotels offer – spaces that are smart, stylish and comfortable at a great price.

“We are excited to partner with CP Group to introduce this one-of-a-kind concept to New Zealand.

“With its bold personality and socially connected culture, the hotel will become a hub that excites and inspires travellers and locals.

“We know TRIBE will resonate with domestic and international guests in New Zealand and look forward to debuting the brand’s first address here.”

TRIBE began in Australia in 2017 and is expanding its global footprint with 15 hotels established worldwide and more than 40 in development.
