Accor has opened its highly anticipated 60-room apartment hotel, The Sebel Wellington Lower Hutt.
Centrally located on High Street, the new-build property offers a mix of elegantly appointed studio, one-bedroom and dual key apartments designed specifically for groups, across its five levels.
Overlooking the Hutt River and Wellington Harbour, it is the city’s only premium 4.5-star apartment-style hotel and features sophisticated design elements inspired by the river and local hillside landscapes.
The hotel also features a ground floor Italian restaurant which dishes up authentic Italian cuisine created from locally sourced produce wherever possible, with relaxed indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
There is also a meeting room which offers 1,150 square metres of space and accommodates up to 1,100 guests.
