Human resources company HRD Australia has recognised the company as a 5-Star Employer of Choice for the second consecutive year.
The hotel operator’s rating was achieved through a submission of company practices followed by an anonymous employee satisfaction survey covering culture, benefits, development and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Accor Pacific COO Adrian Williams says the accolade is a great honour for the company.
“It reinforces that we have a committed and caring team, who are passionate about supporting and developing people, and creating career pathways,” he says.
“It’s an exciting time to work in hospitality as the travel industry continues to evolve and expand.
“Our teams bring diversity, experiences and stories to our culture, which makes Accor a community for all to excel.
“Our people are integral to our success and growth and I could not be prouder of them.”
Accor has implemented a number of initiatives to attract, retain and develop talent, such as increased flexibility and a range of personalised benefits.
Marriott Australia also made the HRD Australia list.
To be considered, each organisation had to reach a minimum number of employee responses based on overall size.
Employers that achieved a 75 per cent or greater average satisfaction rating from employees were named 5-Star Employers of Choice for 2024.
