Peppers Gladstone is set to open in mid-2024 after Accor announced it was building a new hotel in partnership with Yaralla Sports Club.
The property – a fusion of Peppers Gladstone and Mantra Gladstone – can comfortably accommodate over 150 guests, making it an ideal venue for small to large-scale meetings, expos and weddings within its various conference spaces.
Gladstone is about 500km north of Brisbane between the Sunshine Coast and Whitsundays.
Accor Pacific CEO, Sarah Derry, said the hotel will offer a unique addition to the company’s brand portfolio in Queensland.
“Its guestrooms, apartments and amenities will provide an elevated guest experience, particularly appealing to those seeking extra space and comfort for an extended stay,” she said.
Designed by BSPN Architects and constructed by Mettle Projects, Peppers Gladstone will cater to a range of travellers and the hotel’s guest rooms will be curated to capture the essence of the surrounding landscapes.
Ranging from King Studio Rooms to Superior Two Bedroom Apartments, all guest rooms will feature fully equipped kitchens, king-sized beds, large televisions with Chromecast capabilities and a complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar.
