With its doors set to open in December 2020, W Melbourne is offering a sneak peek inside its highly anticipated meeting and event spaces.
Alongside the hotel’s 294 guest rooms and four dining and bar venues, W Melbourne will offer eight event spaces, each with their own personality.
Spanning 426 square metres of pillarless space, the Great Room is the largest space on offer.
It features an abundance of natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Flinders Lane and Williams Street and plays on Melbourne’s autumn colour palette.
A four-by-five-metre LED wall has been installed at one end to deliver sound, light and elevated visuals, while a large original artwork by local Melbourne artist Ash Keating spans nearly 30 metres across the ceiling.
Outside the Great Room, the Studios comprise four separate spaces that are ideal for breakout areas.
The Extreme WOW Suite, located on the 15th floor, and WET, located on the 14th floor with a poolside bar and city views, are also available for hire.
W Melbourne has partnered with Microhire to provide high quality audio-visual services and fully adaptable conference equipment.
Among the hotel’s dining concepts is Japanese restaurant Warabi, offering an intimate setting for 30 diners plus a 10-seat private dining room.
A local renowned chef will head up restaurant Lollo, meanwhile all-night bar Curious will feature an intricate design and impressive cocktail list and Culprit will bring a café-meets-wine-bar experience to the hotel.
