Hyatt Regency was the official hotel partner for Wanderlust True North’s An Evening with Drew Barrymore events in Sydney, on 2 August, and Brisbane, on 3 August.
The hotel worked in collaboration with Wanderlust’s event planners and delivered media events and VIP cocktail parties ahead of the An Evening with Drew Barrymore events that took place at ICC Sydney and Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, with more than 5000 attendees.
Hyatt Regency Sydney hosted the Wanderlust team and talent, as well as offering accommodation packages for people attending the events.
The hotel hosted the media and VIP events, where guests enjoyed sparkling, beer, wine, Wanderlust mocktails and canapes.
These two events were informal cocktail style gatherings featuring yogi dancers, talent Q&As, and meet-and-greets with Barrymore.
What were the highlights of the event?
Barrymore was the fan favourite with media, VIPs, competition winners and clients, who were all keen to hear her speak. Some of them were even lucky enough to meet her.
The Wanderlust team put out product displays and coordinated the Q&As with thought-provoking discussions that encapsulated their True North spirit.
What was the feedback from guests?
Overwhelmingly positive feedback was received from the main client, Wanderlust, as well as people who attended.
