“We matter!”: AIME unveils 2025 Knowledge Program

Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) has unveiled the Knowledge Program for its 2025 event to be held in Melbourne.

Returning to Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), in February 2025, AIME will connect international and local buyers with world-class exhibitors from Asia Pacific and around the world.

The three-day event will be held on 10-12 February, and for the first time, the global exhibitions association, UFI, will co-locate its 2025 Asia-Pacific Conference with AIME at MCEC, with its event to follow on 13-14 February 2025.

The theme for AIME’s 2025 Knowledge Program is “We Matter!”, which will highlight and celebrate the global business events industry as a powerful catalyst for economic growth.

Hosted and curated by BEAM founder El Kwang, the Knowledge Program will launch AIME on 10 February 2025, with keynote speakers from AIME’s speaker bureau partners, as well as industry business leaders who will address 1600 global event professionals.

Kwang says the Knowledge Program theme will ignite powerful conversations and foster valuable learning opportunities.

“As the program takes shape with the theme ‘We Matter!’, we are filled with optimism and anticipation for the outstanding speaker contributions that will emerge in the coming months,” he says.

“Together, we are creating a platform that reflects our collective strength, and propels our industry forward with purpose and confidence.”

Guiding the development and curation of the Knowledge Program topics and speakers is AIME’s Knowledge Program Advisory Committee, which consists of eight leaders from the Asia Pacific meetings and events industry.

“We are thrilled to once again collaborate with El Kwang and his talented content curators at BEAM, who have brought together this year’s esteemed content advisory committee of industry leaders,” says AIME event director Silke Calder.

“My team and I are profoundly grateful to share a vision of delivering meaningful content with such distinguished experts, all made possible by the generosity of our partners.”

The 2025 Knowledge Program Advisory Committee comprises: Paul Boustani, head of events and connections, workplace experience, Atlassian; Ashleigh Cooper, manager, Charter Hall Events; Maggie Diasinos, account director, MCI Australia; Max Jantasuwan, founder and CEO, Events Travel Asia Group; Ronald Lim, business events strategist, Think Event By Think Tank Productions; Sarah Markey-Hamm, CEO, ICMS; Denise Sorrell, director of events, Australian Dental Industry Association; and Felicity Zadro, founder and managing director, Zadro.

AIME 2025 will have an expanded footprint accommodating more than 600 exhibitors and 650 hosted buyers.

Approximately 20,000 meetings are set to take place on AIME’s showfloor across its two days.
