Australia’s luxury travel business exchange, Luxperience, will return to the International Convention Centre Sydney in 2020 with a brand new team.
The show will take place from 12-15 October, following feedback from event partners and delegates who expressed a preference for an October event.
The 2020 Luxperience team will be led by Lynn Ormiston, who has taken over the role of event manager following Michelle Papas’ departure after eight years with the event.
Ormiston, previously sales manager for Luxperience, brings more than 10 years of experience in the events industry to the role and is joined by client manager James Arnott, operations manager Portia Brown, marketing manager Claire-Ann Leo and buyer relations executive Arnie Lautaimi to head up the show.
“Every year we remain committed to evolving the event based on the needs of our stakeholders, so it’s important that we engage with them immediately after the event to identify opportunities for improvement,” said Ormiston.
“The feedback from our partners and delegates is invaluable and plays a critical role in shaping future programs. We could see an appetite for the event to continue in October, for instance, so we made that happen.”
Luxperience 2019 received positive feedback from buyers and exhibitors.
The post-show survey results indicated 93 per cent of buyers were satisfied with their experience and are likely to recommend Luxperience to others. Similarly, 97 per cent of exhibitors were satisfied with their experience and 89 per cent are likely to recommend the event.
