Favourites from this year’s TV Show, The Voice, will head a star-studded bill for the all new Entertainment Showcase feature at Sydney’s Event Showcase in August.
Rob Edwards, Nick Kingswell, Ben Goldstein and favourites from last year’s show, Ben Hazlewood, Fatai and Brittany Cairns are all performing.
Corporate entertainment is listed as one of the hardest aspects of an event to trial and buy, and this year’s Entertainment Showcase managed by Apples & Pears Entertainment (A&P) has been designed to provide event managers with the opportunity to see and hear the acts, effectively trying before investing.
Harris Meitanis, managing director of A&P, has designed a line-up that promotes the range, depth and variety of acts available for corporate events. Such an incredible programme has been made possible due to A&P’s industry relationships that have been fostered over the last decade, propelling them as industry leaders within their field.
“This year we have sought to concentrate on our amazing relationship with artist managers, of those performers catapulted into the limelight from the last two seasons of Australia’s best rating TV show, The Voice.
“The artists we’ve secured, although all professionals in their own right before appearing on the show, are now very much in demand and have been able to fill the commercial void that has existed in the past between professional non-celebrity artists and pure celebrity talent. Now, true professional celebrity talent is affordable to your normal event budget,” said Meitanis.
This year’s Entertainment Showcase will also feature some of Australia’s most popular and talented artists from varying genres stated event director, Karen Krieger.
“Having such an assortment of acts on offer this year, along with six stars from The Voice, showcases just how strong and vibrant the events industry is.
“Event managers need to see entertainment acts live to get a real feel for who they are and what they offer; it is for this reason that we offer diversity. At Sydney’s Event Showcase you’re guaranteed to find just what you’re looking for, and the Entertainment Showcase is no exception, with A&P representing another 700 artists Australia wide aside from who will actually be onstage” said Krieger.
Other artists at the Entertainment Showcase this year include Wildmare Violin, Band of Giants, Wonderbrass, Qsound, Dolce Noir and Sincopa Trio.
The Entertainment Showcase is free, however visitors must register to attend by clicking here.
Sydney’s Event Showcase will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre: 14-15 August, 2013. It is co-located with the Australian Business Events Expo.
