Melbourne’s RSVP event will open to visitors on Wednesday for two days, with a completely sold-out floor of exhibitors ready to impress and inspire event organisers.
The leading tradeshow for the events industry will welcome venues, caterers, entertainers, special event suppliers and specialists in meetings and conferences when the doors open on 26 May at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The show floor will be wall-to-wall inspiration and ideas when RSVP Melbourne opens up to visitors this week
The theme of the show, ‘join the ultimate event community’, is a call out for all aspects of the diverse events industry to come together to create business networks, promote their wares and build strong relationships.
Delwin Kriel, Event Director for RSVP Melbourne has seen a surge of interest in the show during the last few weeks, both from a delegate and exhibitor perspective.
‘This is a new show for 2010 and our efforts in the rejuvenation of the show are starting to pay off. We have received a lot of calls from people wanting to be part of the show in the last few weeks as people realise what is on offer. Our new features; RSVPA, The Avenue, RSVP Business Events and the Spice Ideas Factory, have been very popular with delegates and exhibitors alike.
‘Our RSVP After Dark party will be a highlight. Marakai at Old Melbourne Gaol are putting on an amazing experience with over 7000 canapés and extraordinary entertainment that will see this event become Melbourne’s event industry party of the year,’ said Kriel.
The ever popular RSVP Event Talks will see 41 speakers offer interesting and relevant professional development topics, from marketing and catering to fashion, festivals, managing food and beverage and lots more.
Registration to RSVP Melbourne is free. Show organisers highly recommend registering online before the show to avoid delays at the door. Register here.
Tickets to RSVP Event Talks and the Mad Hatters Tea Party for EA’s, PA’s and Office Managers are still available.
RSVP Melbourne is held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 May, 2010.
