More than 4000 delegates are expected to attend the Hospitality and Gaming Australasia (HGA) ’09 in Brisbane next month — two of who will win trips to the US to attend the largest food fair in the world.
The free annual expo for suppliers and employees of Queensland’s hospitality industries will be take place on March 30 and 31 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) — and coincide with the annual Clubs Qld Awards presentation evening.
It will draw representatives of food and catering companies, liquor suppliers, distillers, breweries, design companies, construction firms and gaming machine manufacturer supplying to the Queensland marketplace.
Highlights will include a pizza competition and pizza giveaways conducted by Dairy Farmers, cooking demonstrations, coffee solutions, culinary delights as well as other practical ideas for improving your bottom line.
Registered delegates will have a chance to win a trip to the largest food fair in the world in Chicago and side trips to Reno, Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe.
HGA general Manager Adam Wilson said the expo will also feature a one-stop ‘professional services’ shop consisting of legal, superannuation, insurance, training, accountancy and other consultancy firms.
“Of course HGA ’09 will also be conducting by invitation only our annual industry ‘meet n greet’ cocktail party, which this year will be held at Portside, Hamilton for key industry leaders,” he said.
