Pages Event Equipment has been retained by the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show to provide show structures for the next five years. The show is the largest on-water display in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2008, 50,000 visitors and over 450 exhibitors took part in the four-day event, making it the second largest show ever for Sanctuary Cove.

The Pages team has already been working with the boat show for several years, constructing three principal pavilions and over 150 smaller structures for individual exhibitors.

“This is one of the biggest events in Australia in terms of logistics and tenting and pavilions,” says Sanctuary Cove’s general manager of marketing and events, Mark Jensen. “It’s also unique in that the location is a marine village that must keep operating at the same time.”

Pages Event Equipment’s director, Stephen Thatcher says it’s a challenge they relish, saying it puts their skills to the test. “The location, and the fact that every one of the individual structures is slightly different means that logistics and attention to detail are crucial.”

The 2009 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will run from May 21 to 24 2009.
